My Background

I was born the middle child of five children. I grew up in the country in a quite neighborhood.  As a child we had very memorable pets. I can still remember our part German Shepard dog named Heinz. He was always leaving us laughing and wondering what he would do next.

He was our protector as well as our best friend. I guess I grew up learning friendship thru our family dog. He was a very Loyal friend. He just accepted that when we would need him, he would be right there for us. No matter if it was to make us smile, lay his head on our lap when we were sad, or to just chase away anything that posed a danger to us. He was always there. He taught me the vauluable lesson of Loyalty in a friendship.  For this I will forever be grateful.

My next lesson in friendship was with my childhood friends. Sherry, Stephanie, Katie and Susie whom I still have a very close friendship with today.

Its' funny how you can be playing one minute and fighting the next, but with childhood friends you forget the fight you just had, and go back to playing together. I remember my dearest friend Sherry with fondest of memories and how we loved to play together, but, when it came time for me to go home she wouldn't want me to go. She would become so angry that she would throw rocks at me. Then beg me to come back. Sherry taught me that in a friendship we must sometimes put aside our own wishes and be more understanding of  our friends wishes. For this lesson of Understanding I owe My Sweet Sherry all my Gratitude and Thanks.

Stephanie was always the baby, following us around everywhere we went, but her dedication was admirable. She also taught me a vauable lesson. Stephanie taught me the lesson of tolerance in a friendship. Even though we tried our best to hide from her at times, I learned to love her dearly. And for this I owe My Dear Stephanie a world of thanks for helping me to see that if we have more Tolerance in our friendships we receive a very dear Treasure.

My dear friend Susie taught me the vauable lesson in learning to Sacrifice in a friendship. She came from a family that didn't have much, but what she had, she was always willing to give. I seen many days when her step mother would eat steak and Susie would eat brown beans for dinner. But she never complained but would offer her share to me, when I came to visit. She never cared that she wouldn't get anymore supper or that she even would get into trouble. It was important to her that I was able to sit and eat with her. I owe Susie my deepest and heart felt thanks for teaching me the lesson of Sacrifice in a friendship.

Katie was the one who had a gentle and caring side.  She was constantly rescuing small animals and tending to their needs. Katie carried this Compassion into all that she did. Katie was the type of person that held your hand when you were sad and reassuring you that things would be better or picking you up after falling and bandaging your scrape. She was far older than her years as a child, she was like a mother hen. She would lend a caring ear when you had something to talk about. In later years I remember many times til the wee hours of the morning of Katie just listening to my problems and sitting with me while I cried. She never judged me but only held me.  My Dear Katie passed away one year ago of cancer, but her legacy of showing Compassion in a friendship will live on forever in my heart. For this lesson Katie I owe you my deepest heart felt thanks for being my friend.

My Views

ivyroseimage.jpg (63035 bytes)

I am a person that the material things in life do not matter much, but, the Love and Joy that we can only receive through our relationships with one another, is what is important to me.

I strive each day to give in a "Friendship" as I would want my friend to give to me.

I believe that God has given us a miracle in "Friendship". It shouldn't be taken lightly nor for granted.

A true "Friendship" should be given unconditionally and that our love should be given as so.

We should hold a "Friendship" as a valued treasure and to never let it tarnish with our own selfishness or views.

A "Friendship" planted with the seeds of compassion, sacrifice, loyalty, tolerance and understanding; and then  watered daily with love, dedication, truth and honesty; will soon blossom into a beautful sweet garden.

It is with hopes and dreams that one day my garden shall be filled and over flowing into others fields, with the Seeds, so that they too may enjoy the beauty that lies within a Friendship.

This is why I wanted to create my webpage. In hopes that I may reach other fields and plant the seed of "Friendship".
