Introduction

Hans and I met through the internet on MIRC in a channel called 30+Divorced/Sep. Hans was a very understanding man and was someone I could talk to about anything. We shared many tears, joys, and laughs together. Hans lived in Germany and of course I lived in the States, but even the ocean could not separate the bond that we shared.

Seeds

It is very difficult to explain the bond that I share with Hans. It is as if two souls met and became one. Hans helped me to see things about myself that was hindering me in learning to love again after a very painful relationship. He never critisized me or gave me advise. He was always there with a reassuring word and a shoulder to lean on. Hans would always give me metaphors to think about instead of advice. And it always made me feel good inside when I finally figured out what the meaning was. For an example: When I was hurting over a failed relationship and so afraid to let another close to my heart again. Hans never said " get on with your life", "quit crying over that person" and such. No, he simple asked  " If you were to fall in a ditch and hurt yourself, would you stand again?" I of course come to learn that once we fall we do not have to become and invalid and lie there feeling sorry for ourselves. We can  simply pick ourselves up and not look back at what happened but move on down the road to more stable ground. I found that it was what I wanted things to be that was crippling me from moving on to Love Again. Yes, that person still holds a place in my heart but I have found the Treasures of Love many times since then. The treasure of love that I hold for Hans can never compare, nor can I ever owe him enough for all that he has given me. The seed that was planted here was nourished and watered to grow in the sunlight. For now the seed blooms into a "Rose" and reaches for the sunlight , renewed and alive basking in the warmth that this " Friendship" has provided so willingly. For this My Darling Hans, I could never express the Love in my heart nor the Gratitude that I hold for you, for showing me the way to love again. I thank you My Dearest Friend.

For You My Friend

With Love
