To seize the meaning of. To appreciate and sympathize with. To form a reasoned judgement concerning something. To accept as fact, believe. To feel and show sympathy, tolerance, etc.

Personal View of Understanding

To accept and sympathize with a person's needs, views and thoughts. To see that person's side above your own personal views, wants or needs. To show tolerance when those views do not meet our own.
